Parking

We recommend parking at the Wall Street parking garage at the corner of Wall Street and Otis Street.
First hour is free and additional hours are billed at $1.00

On street parking is also available for $1.25 an hour with a two hour max.
Note: On street parking in Asheville is free after 6pm and Sundays.

Directions

From the East:
Take 40 West to 240 West. Exit Montford/Haywood Road (sign posted here for the Civic Center) Take a left. Take a left at first stop light. Take an immediate right on French Broad. Take the first left on Otis Street. Take the second left on Wall Street. We are #35 Wall Street.

From the West:
Take 40 East to 240 East. Exit Patton Avenue. Stay straight on Patton. Take a left at Otis Street (There is a traffic light here. The Downtown Inn is on your right. Otis is a lefthand turn only.) Take an immediate right on Wall Street. We are #35 Wall Street.

From the South:
Take 40 East to 240 East. Take 26 West to 240 East. Exit Patton Avenue. Stay straight on Patton. Take a left at Otis Street (There is a traffic light here. The Downtown Inn is on your right. Otis is a lefthand turn only.) Take an immediate right on Wall Street. We are #35 Wall Street.

From the North:
Take 40 East to 240 East. Coming in on 19/23 South exit Patton Avenue. Stay straight on Patton. Take a left at Otis Street (There is a traffic light here. The Downtown Inn is on your right. Otis is a lefthand turn only.) Take an immediate right on Wall Street. We are #35 Wall Street.

Museum Exhibit Admissions

Admission is on a “pay as you choose” sliding scale from $5-15 per visitor. You can decide what the exhibit experience is worth to you,
either upon entering the exhibit gallery or after your visit. Again, your choice!

Museum admissions are free for children and youth 12 and under.

Community Access Tickets

Public schools and institutions, social service agencies and nonprofit groups that serve communities can enjoy complimentary access to the museum.
To apply for these admissions, please email info@ashevillemuseum.com at least one week before your proposed visit. Include the number of admissions requested as well as proposed date/s.
